Apple Cider Jelly

This is a recipe my father-in-law gave me and it is so good and easy to make. The Red Hots make it taste so cinnamon good also giving it a pretty color. I thought making jelly would be difficult but its so simple and much more special than store bought.
1 quart of apple cider
2/3 cup of Red Hots cinnamon candy
1 package (1 3/4 ounces) pectin, powdered
5 cups of sugar
In a large pot, combine the cider, Red Hots and pectin. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat,
stirring often. Add sugar and return to rolling boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and skim off any foam. Carefully ladle hot jelly into hot sterilized jars,
leaving 1/4 inch head space. Adjust caps. Process for 10 minutes in boiling water bath.
Enjoy!
